My family and I first adopted the Elf on the Shelf tradition in 2015 and since then it has become a cherished part of our families’ holiday celebrations. I bet it’s a treasure in your family as well.

So, on December 1, every year, this little whimsical scout elf is sent from the North Pole to our home to help Santa keep track of who’s naughty and nice.

The elf observes our kiddos – Sophia and Ray during the day and then at night, reports back to Santa.

The joy and anticipation grow each morning as the kids wake up to find out the new spot where their elf has landed.

This might be a bit difficult for the littles. But the rule is no one can touch the elf. Because if someone touches the elf, the elf will lose their magic and won’t be able to fly back to the North Pole to report to Santa.
