As a homeschooling mom, I have signed up and used many free trials. Some I loved and went on to be a paying customer. Others I didn’t quite enjoy, and neither did my kids.

Best Apps With Free Trials
1. Homer Learning App
We currently use the Learn & Grow feature of the Homer app (also included in your free trial).
This is an excellent app for kids ages 2 – 8. With their free trial, your child can build their fluency in reading, critical thinking, and social-emotional skills.
This app is my favorite, and if I had to recommend only one app, it would be the Homer Learning App!
2. CodeSpark
Perfect app to introduce your kids to coding. It’s definitely a beginner app for coding, one that your child will absolutely love. My daughter loved this app when she first used it. Now, she uses Hello Coding because she’s more advanced.
Great app for kids between the ages of 5-10. And you can add up to 3 kids to your plan.
3. Zcooly
Got a child who is struggling with math? Then you won’t want to miss out on the Zcooly 14-day trial!
They make learning math so much fun; the best part is they cover many classes. So make sure to take advantage of their 14-day free trial. We did, and you guessed right! We are now paying customers, and learning math is so much fun in our home.

4.ABCya
This app is part of the IXL family. If you’re not familiar with IXL – it is an educational technology company that focuses on creating online learning platforms for students. They own brands (for lack of better words) such as educational.com, TpT, Rosetta Stone, and Wyzant.
ABCya provides over 300 fun and educational games for Pre-K through 6th grade. This app is great for my family since I have a 2nd and 5th grader. So instead of having multiple educational games apps, I can opt-in for only this one since both kids can use it.
Another reason I love this app is because the creator understands that kids learn through play!
