Tips for Using Trivia in Your Classroom or Home
Here’s how I love using these questions with my own kids:
Make It a Game – Divide into teams or do a “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?”-style round where each correct answer earns a point or small reward.
Pair It with Art – After a few trivia rounds, give kids a fun coloring page or have them draw one of the countries or landmarks mentioned.
Use Visual Aids – If you’re a teacher, display a world map or globe. Pull out a kids’ atlas at home or use Google Earth, seeing their eyes light up when they “visit” these places virtually is magical.
Expand the Learning – If a kid seems especially interested in a place, take time to read a book or watch a kid-friendly documentary about that country later. This is how trivia turns into real learning.
Why I Love Trivia (And Why You Might, Too)
What I love most about trivia is how effortlessly it brings learning and laughter together. You don’t need a formal lesson plan. You don’t need to prep for hours. I truly believe all you need is curiosity.
Whether you’re a parent like me sneaking in educational moments between snack breaks, or a teacher trying to find a clever brain break during a busy school day, I promise this trivia set will be a hit.
You’ll be amazed at what your kids already know… and even more amazed at how fast they learn when they’re having fun.
