Letter K Worksheet (Single PDF Page)
To begin with, the one-page worksheet offers a fantastic introduction to the letter K.
It features a sentence that reads – ” K is for…” that your child will trace, followed by K words – key, kiwi, kangaroo, and koala.
Once they are done with tracing, they can color the images that go with each word.
This sheet is great for morning work, letter of the week lessons, or quiet center time.
Letter K Flip Book
You can then use the rest of the printables to create a letter K flip book for your child or students by cutting out each rectangle.
Alternatively, you can use these printables as they are.
The flip book features the following K words:
-
Kite
-
Koala
-
Kiwi
-
Key
-
King
-
Kiss
-
Kangaroo
By the end of the week, your child will have created their very own letter K book.

Tips for Using These Letter K Printables
Not sure where to start?
Don’t worry—we’ve got a simple plan for you!
Begin with the one-page worksheet – Use this at the start of the week to introduce the letter K. Talk about each word, ask your child to name other K words, and color the images together.
Add in the flip book – Spread it out over a few days. Focus on one or two pages per day to avoid overwhelm and to reinforce the letter sound consistently.
Review and celebrate – Once the flip book is complete, read it together! Encourage your child to “read” the K words back to you by using the images and their memory.
Take it further – Create a K word wall, go on a “K scavenger hunt,” or draw new K words together.
